About IPHS

It was in 1986 that the seed of real wisdom was sown in the deserts of Ras al Khaimah. Watered with the majestic drops of dedication and determination, there sprouted, the leaves of learning which grew up into a huge tree of knowledge... the tree was named as IPHS- Indian Public High School... Beating away all the mirages of lifelessness, IPHS extended the boughs of insight, to conquer heights...

Approved by the Ministry of Education, UAE, and managed by a private body, IPHS has classes ranging from LKG to standard XII. The school follows the syllabus of the Central Board of Secondary Education, India and prepares students for the All India Secondary School Examination and Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE, New Delhi (India).

Situated away from the hectic town, serenity prevails within the surroundings of the school. The IPHS building featuring simple architecture and good infrastructure, with its distinctive location, provides a dramatic backdrop for a favourable environment for education. At the +2 level, the school offers two streams viz; science and commerce.

With the flags of firmness and banners of boldness, he strived along the pathway of power to seize his dreams an visualise his visions.

With an irrepressible sense of faith, vibrating strongly within him, Mr. P.V. John, paved the way to success, illuminating it with the lights of love to bring about the eternal glow of grace.

With the unseverable chains of belongingness and sincerity, he linked himself with the institution, its members, parents and teachers whose valued co-operation, strengthened the bond further.

As the reverberations of his thoughts and ideals can be sensed within the tenderness of the campus, the depths of his devotion... becomes immeasurable.. with high degree of respect.

 

 

Principal' message

It has been my privilege to be the principal of this prestigious institution, which has a commendable history of 20 years. I took over this responsibility in the year 1990.
Our school’s mission is to educate tomorrow’s leaders by ensuring academic success for every enrolled student. We define academic success as providing our students with a challenging, personalized interactive curriculum.

Our teaching methods encapsulate the emphasis of personal, social and academic development of all our students. Specifically, we wish to provide a rewarding and positive learning environment for all our children, enabling them to function as productive and successful citizens in a changing society.

Our objectives are that, IPHS, RAK should have a graduation rate of 100 percent and all of our graduates will continue to enjoy their success in an undergraduate collegiate institution. We can boast to say that our alumni today include captains of business and industry, doctors, engineers, bankers, computer professionals and others so well settled in life.

In a world where moral values are eroding fast, it is imperative that moral education is part of the curriculam. We, at IPHS, are committed to make our students understand and respect the culture and synthesis of India’s wisdom and take lessons out of it. This, I sincerely believe will make them confidently don the mantle of tomorrows leaders.
